RHYTHMIC GYMNASTS’ CONTEST IN INDIVIDUAL ALL-AROUND WRAPS UP

The individual all-around competitions in Rhythmic Gymnastics came to an end within the framework of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro on August 20.

Having taken her place among the top ten strongest gymnasts of the world in tensed competitive atmosphere, Azerbaijan’s representative Marina Durunda ranked 9th with 69.748 points in total of 4 exercises in the all-around final.

Marina, making her debut at the Olympics, remembered with her peculiar style and professionalism.

Russian representative Margarita Mamun won the gold medal (76.483), her compatriot Yana Kudryatseva (75.608) and Ukraninan gymnast Ganna Rizatdinova became the silver and bronze medalists (73.583) of the events accordingly.
