Following the large-scale international events, this time, the excitement of the national tournaments was experienced at Milli Gimnastika Arenasi (National Gymnastics Arena).

The Rhythmic gymnasts from various cities and regions of Azerbaijan, competed for the medals at the 26^th Azerbaijan and Baku Championships in and 6^th Interregional Cup, as well as the representatives of Aerobics performed at the 5^th Azerbaijan and Baku Championships.

During the 4-day competitions, the representatives of Rhythmic Gymnastics in 4 age categories performed in individual program and within groups, while aerobic gymnasts executed their routines in Individual program and the programs of individual, mixed pairs, trios, groups and aero dance.

In Rhythmic Gymnastics events, the representatives from Baku Gymnastics School, “Ojag Sport”, “AyUlduz”, “Zirva International” clubs and Republican Complex Sports School, as well as  Khirdalan, Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Shirvan, Zagatala, Qusar and Nakhchivan distinguished themselves while the athletes of “Ojaq Sport” club found themselves among the winners in Aerobic competitions.

Another national event in gymnastics disciplines will take place in November. There will be held the 17^th Azerbaijan Championships in Tumbling  (November 8) and the 5^th Azerbaijan Championships in Trampoline Gymnastics (November 9).
