The 34^th World Championships in Trampoline Gymnastics started in Japanese capital city of Tokyo on November 28, has come to an end today.

In the competitions, Azerbaijan was represented by the members of the National Team in Trampoline Gymnastics – Ruslan Aghamirov, Ilya Grishunin and Oleg Piunov.

Gymnasts showed their best results in synchronized program. Ruslan and Ilya ranked 18^th among 34 pairs.

It should be mentioned that both Opening and Closing ceremonies were significant for our country. Thus, Kamil Guliyev, a judge of Azerbaijan, pronounced the judges` oath during the Opening Ceremony.

At Closing Ceremony, the FIG`s flag was presented to Azerbaijan for the next World Championships. The flag was handed over to the representative of Ministry of Youth and Sport, Elchin Gasimov, and Trampoline Gymnastics Sport Manager of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, Fatima Shafizada.

Azerbaijan will host the World Championships in Trampoline Gymnastics in 2021. There will be held the 35^th World Championships and the 28^th World Age Group competitions in this discipline on November 11-14 and on November 19-22 accordingly.
