On July 5-7, all our representatives completed the international tournament “Turin Acro Cup” in Acrobatic Gymnastics with medals, which was held in the Italian city of Turin. Thus, the Mixed Pair consisting of Rahimov Aghasif & Seyidli Raziya ranked first with 82.310 points and added another “Gold” to their medal box. The Men’s Pair consisting of Rafiyev Murad & Abbasov Daniel also justified our expectations. They mounted the highest step of the podium having received 81.650 points from the judges. At the competition, “Girls” made their best in order for the country’s National Anthem to be sounded for the 3rd time by showing their excellent routine. 83.890 points scored by the representatives of Group - Zeyniyeva Nazrin, Bashiri Anahita & Rashidova Zahra, was enough to grab the “Gold” for our country. Another medal news came from our Men’s Group consisting of Safarov Riad, Al-Mashaykhi Abdulla, Seyidli Rasul & Jafarov Seymour. Our “Boys”, whose performances were evaluated with 79,800 points, ranked 2nd in the Final.
Thus, our athletes left the international tournament “Turin Acro Cup” with 4 medals (3 “Gold” & 1 “Silver”). We congratulate our representatives on the victory.
