The 39th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, which was remembered yesterday with two bronze medals of our junior gymnasts, continues.
On the stage of “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena), designed in a Hollywood style, senior individuals dazzled with their brilliant performances on the Floor.
The representatives of the most elegant Gymnastics discipline demonstrated their routines with a Hoop & a Ball. Azerbaijani gymnasts - Zohra Aghamirova & Ilona Zeynalova executed their exercises with both Apparatus.
Zohra Aghamirova qualified for the finals with a Ball (32.550) and a Hoop (32.150). Our athlete ranked 5th with a Ball, while she took the 6th place with a Hoop in the Qualifications.
It should be mentioned that Zohra will join the competition in the Apparatus finals on May 21.
Tomorrow, at the Continental Championships, gymnasts will perform their performances with Clubs & Ribbons in the Individual Qualifications.
