According to the press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, the highest result was shown by one of the coaches of the national team Yasena Kuyumdzhieva. There is 87 percent on her credit side according to the results of both theoretical and practical examinations. Yevgeniya Zhidkova, who assists the national team’s head coach at its base in Baku, achieved the second high result (81 percent). And the third place was shared by Fatima Shafizada assisting the Bulgarian specialist within the national collective and Elnara Huseynova (80 percent) combining work at rhythmic gymnastics section in Kurdamir and “Neftchi”. 12 other coaches-participants of the workshop – Vafa Huseynova (the national team’s coach), Zhala Garatova, Madina Hasanova (both from the national team’s base), Alla Vlasova (“Neftchi”, “Sarhadchi”), Svetlana Babasiyeva (Sumgayit), Irina Abdurrahmanova (Khirdalan), Sevil Mammadova (“Baku” Professional Sports Club), Sabina Jalilova (Republican Complex Sports School), Nurjahan Asgarova (“Neftchi”), Aleksandra Reysh (“Sarhadchi”), Sultana Ibrahimzada (“Baku” and section in Ismayilli) and Teylana Aliyeva (Baku Gymnastics school) received more than 65 percents.
“If to take a view of the points’ table, it is obvious that it is led by young Azerbaijani coaches”, the courses leader, FIG’s Canadian expert Nota Klentrou stated summing up the workshop’s results. Their middle age is between 20-24. Thus, the purpose of the courses is achieved – it was aimed at specialists with not a great experience, let’s say just yesterday’s gymnasts wishing to be engaged in the coach’s activity.
The representative of the maple leaf’s country also expressed her gratitude to Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation for the organization and holding of the one-week’s courses at the high level and said it is not ruled out that she and her colleagues on the Academy Nadya Aleksandrova (Great Britain) and Helena Diaz (Portugal) can hold another workshop but Level 2 in Baku next year.
