From April 10 to 12, the most graceful representatives of gymnastics gathered at the main venue of the competitions the National Gymnastics Arena.
Athletes from “Ocaq Sport” Club, Baku Gymnastics School, Republican Complex Sports School, “Grasiya” Sports Club, Water Sports Palace, Shagan Olympic Sports Complex and Zira Cultural Center demonstrated their skills during the event.
In the Baku Championship, gymnasts competed in the individual program for top honors in the following age categories: Juniors (born in 2015, 2016, and 2017), Pre-juniors (born in 2013–2014) and Youngsters (born in 2010–2011).
In the group exercise program, gymnasts in the Juniors (born in 2015–2017) and Pre-juniors (born in 2012–2014) age categories showcased their performances.
At the end of the qualification rounds held during the first two days of the competition, the All-around winners were determined according to their respective age groups. Prize-winners were also announced in the group exercises among Juniors and Pre-juniors.
On the final day, the top performers in the individual program (Pre-juniors), group exercises (Juniors and Pre-juniors), and the team competition were awarded.
