Bronze medalists of the 28th FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships in Baku within Men's Pair - Daniel Abbasov and Murad Rafiyev, shared their joy with the Press Service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF).
Murad Rafiyev said they prepared for the competitions at high level and their performance was successful: “We prepared a lot for the competition. We had a great responsibility. Organization of the World Championships within the native walls doubles our responsibility. Our main goal was to qualify for the final. We did it. We won the Bronze medal in Combined exercises. There was a minimal difference between our points and those of our rivals. We received the same points for artistry and execution as the US Team. There was a small difference in difficulty.”
“Our results could have been even better”. We lost to our rivals with a very small difference. We have two more final performances ahead of us. We really wish to win the “Gold” or “Silver” medal. We hope that our performances tomorrow will be successful”, Daniel Abbasov said.
