About competition

On April 21-23, our capital will host another Gymnastics competition. This time, the world’s strongest Rhythmic gymnasts will come together at the FIG World Cup to be held in our country.

According to the registration list, 135 athletes from 40 countries in the Individual program & Group Exercises will take part in the 4th international competition in Gymnastics disciplines hosted by Azerbaijan this year.

Our country will be represented in the individual program by - Arzu Jalilova and Alina Gozalova, while Gullu Aghalarzade, Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Zeynab Hummatova, Yelyzaveta Luzan and Darya Sorokina will perform within the team in group exercises.

During the three-day competitions, gymnasts will compete in the All-Around and Apparatus finals.

Traditionally, AGF Trophy Cup will be presented to the gymnast and team in Group exercises received the highest execution score from the judges at the World Cup.

This will be the ninth Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup held in our country so far. Our capital hosted 9 World Cups and the World Championships in 2005 & 2019 in this discipline.

Spectators wishing to watch the exciting performances of rhythmic gymnasts, can obtain tickets online at https://iticket.az/ and from the city ticket offices. Tickets’ cost constitutes 10 manat for Qualifications and 15 manat for Finals.
